Description

Deep and wide, these Ramen Bowls are designed to hold an entire meal. These bowls were made for generous servings of ramen, pasta, pho, or big salads and grain bowls. Soft curves sit atop a slightly flared foot and the marbled glaze continues seamlessly from the foot to the lip. The clear glaze on the inside of the bowl allows the natural color and variegation of the clay to show through.

Fun and bold, the Marbled collection mixes inspiration from Moroccan pottery with the global tradition of marbling.  We’ve created this range in a 3 color palettes that echo the natural world while making graphic statement pieces for everyday use. Ocean is a swirl of blues and greens. Terra is a mix of oranges, terracottas and sand tones, Olive mixes the bright green of new leaves and fresh growth with the more muted shades of sage and olive. All of these colorways are swirled with a bright ivory and the interiors are glazed with a glossy transparent glaze to let the natural color of the clay show through.

Our ceramics are entirely handmade in a small atelier/factory located about 30 minutes outside of Marrakech. Each piece is crafted using a unique blend of black and white clays sourced from Spain, chosen for their strength, texture, and natural beauty.
Because every item is shaped and finished by hand, no two pieces are exactly alike. Subtle variations in form, glaze, and finish are not imperfections — they are the signature of true artisan work and a reminder that each piece is one of a kind.
The atelier is led by a Maâlem (master craftsman), who is also a ceramic teacher, passing down traditional skills while continuously refining his craft. Every piece reflects generations of knowledge, patience, and respect for handmade production.
