Description

A flat, low profile with our hand carved lines detail on the lip, these dinner plates are generously sized without feeling too large, and give off a sophisticated, modern feel with a timeless handmade energy. The matte Earth glaze combined with the substantial weight of these plates create the perfect organic modernist table setting look with a nod to Brutalist sensibilities.

Mid Century Modern design meets traditional Moroccan ceramic craft.  The Lines Collection is the perfect transitional dinnerware collection for combining contemporary sensibilities with the unique variations that come from a handmade ceramic practice.

In three glazes, the matte white Cloud glaze mixes beautifully with the the transparent Earth  glaze, which essentially just seals and enhances the color of the clay itself, and Milk, a bright, glossy white that dresses up easily while it's handmade qualities and slight variegation create an elegant and unfussy look perfect for everyday use. Subtle asymmetry and color variations highlight each pieces handmade origins.

Because every item is shaped and finished by hand, no two pieces are exactly alike. Subtle variations in form, glaze, and finish are not imperfections — they are the signature of true artisan work and a reminder that each piece is one of a kind.
The atelier is led by a Maâlem (master craftsman), who is also a ceramic teacher, passing down traditional skills while continuously refining his craft. Every piece reflects generations of knowledge, patience, and respect for handmade production.
