Born in Munich, Germany in 1978, Philipp Plein’s glorious career started out by designing steel furniture out of his parent’s basement. Even while he was in law school, he felt that he would rather be a designer. This passion fueled him to establish the Phillip Plein company in 1998 which quickly gained a growing popularity among luxury home owners and design enthusiasts.

In 2003, Plein designed a champagne lounge for Moet & Chandon, one of the world’s most prominent champagne producers. Plein also dabbled in fashion - designing haute couture that reflects his extravagant and opulent personality.
